Whistler Avalanche Courses - Avalanche Skills Training Level 2
The natural progression of the AST 1 for skiers and boarders looking for a course to build a solid foundation for safe winter travel in the mountains. There is emphasis on snow profile interpretation and recording, terrain rating, route selection and advance companion rescue.

Prerequisites: Avalanche Skills Training Level 1
Cost: $ 595per person + HST % | Discounts available for group bookings of 5 or more.
Includes: Course manual, CAA field book, handout package, and completion certificate.
Details: The course schedule is as follows:
* Day 1: 8pm - 7pm (theory & field)
* Day 2: 8am - 7pm (field & theory)
* Day 3: 8am - 7pm (field & theory)
* Day 4: 8am - 7pm (field & debrief)
Participants must pick up their rental equipment before the course begins. Participants are to provide their own food and water for the course days. Backcountry and avalanche equipment rental available at preferred rate. Backcountry lifts pass available.
