Storm Skiing for Christmas
Cool little video a client and friend made about a stormy day ski touring the musical bumps on Whistler Mountain Yesterday, December 23, 2010. It was a long one, nearly 8 hours, but the video is short. Enjoy that Christmas Snow!!

Ast Level 1 - an excerpt from a 35 minute classroom session
Here is a portion of our last Friday's Ast Level 1 class. I wanted to post this to give potential students a quick look at a bit of one of our classroom sessions. This, of course, is not intended to take the place of any type of official avalanche training. It is only to be used as a reference and is a good idea to watch before your Ast Lv 1 class. Video Production with Coast Mountain Guides
As many of you know, CMG is very active in helping filmers get the shots they need. We have assisted with various forms of adventure filming in the past few years including working with Olympic ski teams to obtain footage for their trainers to use, we were active in filming for the reality TV show for kids and recently just helped Helly Hansen in filming a commercial for Resort TV! As well as helping others we also lug our cameras out on nearly every tour/course we do. Stay tuned to our videos page for updates throughout the season.
