to Tenquille Traverse
This gem
of a wilderness area located
North-East of Whistler has
one of the most spectacular
backpacking routes of the
entire region.
Starting
at the South end of the range
you will gradually work your
way up to a rich alpine meadow,
and through untracked wilderness.
Map and compass navigation
is mandatory.
The remainder
of this trek takes you across
four high passes and past
numerous alpine lakes.
Though it
is not a technical traverse,
the main part of this trip
has no existing trail and
most of the travel is in alpine
terrain.
