Spearhead Traverse Whistler
Known as a premier high ski-traverse in British Columbia's Coast Mountains, the Spearhead Traverse, a 4-day trip, is an exhilarating ski tour from Blackcomb to Whistler Mountain crossing over 12 glaciers and offering you some of the most spectacular mountain sceneries. It is known as the Canadian version of the haute route in the European Alps, but the Canadian way, spending each night in an Igloo, snow cave or a cozy winter tent. This is truly a Canadian winter experience.
Ability Required: Intermediate skier or snowboarder.

Note** - Summer 2011 will bring the first of many huts constructed along the Spearhead Traverse. This will make accessing this area much easier and will allow us to summit and ski more of the mountains in this area as we will not have to pack as much gear with us.
