Whistler Splitboarding Courses
Splitboarding is a great alternative to Snowboarders planning to explore the Backcountry. First introduced locally by Prior Snowboards in the season of 1999-2000 they have become the answer to snowboarders looking for a fast, effective and reliable transport vehicle in the backcountry. They now come in various size, shapes and forms. This one day course is designed for snowboarders looking to learn how to use a splitboard. We will teach you all the tricks and applications of the technology with the opportunity to try it.

Meeting Place: The Lift Coffee co.
Duration: ALL day
Difficulty: Strong intermediate to advance snowboarding skills comfortable on blue runs and variable snow conditions. No previous backcountry experience necessary.
Ration: 6:1
Price: $125pp
Includes: Splitboard rental, Transceiver, probe, shovel, poles, backpack, and a Prior Factory tour
*participants must pick up and/or organize their equipment prior to the day of the course. Participants are to provide their own food and water for the course day.
